COOL BOOK USES

There's nothing like a good book.

Happy Friday everyone!

What are you planning for your weekend?

Tonight little N will be coming to spend the night.

=:]

Then tomorrow is her brother's birthday party...

pizza and cake in the park!

After pizza and cake, we're off to take a friend out shooting.

Woot!

Meanwhile in between all this stuff...

the man and T have a side job they're working on.

Very cool beans.

I have lots to things to watch and do.

Speaking of cool things to watch and do...

My friend K sent me this fun place to visit...

now I'm passing it on to you!

  3. I hope you have a good weekend as well. I wish we had some stuff going on like you do but we are going to be pretty lame and continue to purge the house of stuff before Kyle's little brother or sister gets here in November. It is disturbing how many things we have kept over the years. I can see how hoarders get going.

  4. I love that we both have little kid parties this weekend :-) I am going to Love Bug and Little Prince's joint party today. Both born in August 3 and 4 years ago.
What a great site! Thanks for that :-)
I am reading a pretty cool book called The Elegance of the Hedgehog by Muriel Barbery.

  6. billy pilgrim- I can't think of a better place to spend time than cruising Ender's universe.
Have you ever read Orson Scott Card's Alvin Maker series? Not so much sci-fi but very enjoyable as well.

  7. Mr.Shife- I've spent a life time amassing stuff that I kept for a variety of reasons that I could easily have lived without. Every once in awhile I had to go through them and get rid of stuff... all the while shaking my head and wondering why I hung on to it.
Little folk certainly add to the treasure trove. Think of your sorting as noble work paving the way for true treasures to come.

K, who sent me that site is also a really-o, truly-o librarian.
I saw that you were reading that on FB and find myself interested. Please keep me updated on it.

  9. I love books. Thanks for sharing that site. I love Neatorama too but hadn't seen that one. I wonder how hard it was to pick which books to sacrifice for the projects.
