Yay!
Time for another Sat. Scavenger Shots.
Our word today is TIME.
This fellow is from a long, long time ago.
Time can be measured in years...
Or months, and days.
Ticking off the days on this calendar
was my way of showing that time really
was passing, even if it didn't feel like it.
Birthdays are a way of showing how much
time has passed in our lives...
and celebrating good times together.
Raising my children took a lot of time.
Or at least it felt like it...
at that point in time.
Above are Squeaky, Bear and Max
(left to right)
and the start of a new generation
little Turkey,
who continues my family's saga in time.
Don't even get me started on days, hours, minutes, seconds...
We don't have enough time!
We don't have enough time!
Have a marvelous weekend!
being unstuck in time can be both a blessing and a curse. i enjoy escaping to the arms of a lovely woman but i tire of reliving my death. so it goes.
ReplyDeletebilly pilgrim- I can see where reliving your death might get stale after a time, but I would think that Montana Wildhack would help balance that out. She was very lovely at that time. =:]
ReplyDeleteI love those milestones for marking time! What a great post :) Love that cake and the picture of the kids, especially.
ReplyDeleteWill you pick the next word? P-p-p-pleeeeease?
It wigs me out a little to mark time off a calendar - I never do anymore unless I am counting down to something important.
ReplyDeletelaura b.- Ha! I think our heads were in a very similar place for this one. Thanks. Yes, that would be my pleasure! I am working on a word. I will let you know what it is.
ReplyDeleteSecret Agent Woman- This was a photo of the calendar I was using at work to count down the days until I moved down here to start my life with the man. It was a very happy count down. =;]
ReplyDeleteah that last one you invested so much time in....just sweet and happy. and so worth it.
ReplyDeletelime- You are so right! My children and grand children are the delight of my life. I treasure every second with them now and back through time, no matter how frustrating they could be.
ReplyDeleteAhhhh, what a gorgeous family pic - like you, my boys tower above me, too! With the grandbaby there, it truly demonstrates how time marches on, doesn't it? Sweet post.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos for "time"! Where was that first photo taken? We visited a natural history museum in Canada and I took a few photos of some fierce dinosaurs.
ReplyDeleteYou really do make some attractive humans, don't you. Great pics!
